Fun at the Fair

I apparently got alot of children excited when they heard that you could throw a sponge at the teacher.

So I kept my promise and for a select few who asked, got wet to make others smile.

Room 2's Spinners

On Grandparents morning we made spinner with cardboard.

They didn't work really well.

Toby C's Grandad made us some wooden circles to make into spinners.

We love them and they work really well.

Eating our Broccoli

Yesterday we cooked and ate our broccoli.

Some of us ate it raw

And some of us waited patiently for it to cook

Lots of us love broccoli but some of us just didn't want to try it.

Grandparents Morning

Room 2 goes Swimming

We all had a great time at swimming on Wednesday.

Mrs Z took lots of photos of us at the pool.

Room 2's Brocolli

Remember way back in Term 2 when we started to grow some seeds and planted some vegetables in the garden outside the office.

Well, today we cut 2 heads of broccoli for our class to decide what to do with.

Here it is in the garden.

Here is our list of what we could do with them with the votes in red.

Feeding Cookie, Karen's rabbit was voted Number 1.

So we took the broccoli to Room 4 to see Cookie and Karen

Cookie thought it tasted DELICIOUS

and came to visit us in Room 2 to say thank you.

Discovery Time

Room 2 had the best Discovery time today.

We were focusing on 'Managing Me.'

We talked about how we can manage ourselves.

Then we did some cool activities.

Like pretend we are driving in the car going on holiday

We drew pictures in the sand with stones, shells and sea glass

and we designed our own park.

Cosmic Yoga

In Room 2 at the end of the day we sometimes do Cosmic Yoga.

We think it is so so so much fun.

Term 3 Review

Delicious Room 2 have just completed their Term 3 review.

Room 2 are so so excited about this.

News was lots of fun in Room 2 today.

Zoe told us about the weather in Columbia

Angus told us about the weather in Fiji

Charlie told us about the weather at After School Care yesterday

Ollie told us about the weather on his holiday with the big waterslide

and

Taylor told us about the weather in Auckland

Fun at PMP

We had so much fun at PMP today.

We even had some new activities to do.

We used pegs to pick up marbles and put them on the marble mat

We made patterns with the ribbons

We walked across the skinny bridge

We did press ups then threw the bean bags into the hoops

We balanced and tried to catch a beanbag

We threw the ball through the hoop to our partner.

Room 2 have been talking about the difference between friends and learning buddies.

We made lists of what we think friends and learning buddies do.

Then we drew pictures of 3 of our friends and 3 learning buddies.
