Thursday visits

It was fantastic to have Ethan, Eashan, Toby Atticus and his friend Henry visit us today.

We had a super busy morning.

Ethan read a book using a whispering phone

with his reading group

Atticus and Henry played the red box game

Eashan made letters with the playdough

And so did Toby.

We all had a fantastic time at our school visit,

Measuring

Look at the measuring we did today during Maths with Kirsty. We compared lengths of string. Who had the longest? Who had the shortest? We put the string in order from longest to shortest.

We compared the length of different toy cars and put them in order.

It was so much fun.

Our First Day at School

And here we all are on our First Day at Brooklyn School.

We had a great day.

We did news, writing, reading, fitness, maths, handwriting and went for a walk around the school to visit lots of classes.

Room 2's last school visit before we start

We had a fantastic last school visit today.

Our focus was Maths and we had a great time counting and ordering numbers.

Our Second School Visit

Even though it was pouring with rain outside, inside Room 2 9 children were having a fantastic visit.

Todays focus was on Reading and every child went home with a book they could read.

They all had lots of fun and worked really hard on a variety of things with fabulous results.

Extra welcome to Atticus and Ethan who had their first school visit today.

Our First School Visit

Today has been a very exciting day.

It was our first school visit day.

Lots of  the children came in a little nervous and left full of smiles and excitement.
